| Daniels Fund Grant to Support GU Business Ethics | |
|
Gonzaga University has received a $79,438 Daniels Fund grant to support its Business Ethics Advantage Program. The Program, jointly sponsored by the Graduate School of Business and the Gonzaga Ethics Institute, is designed to promote ethical business practices by providing Web-based ethics concentration courses for MBA students and ethics certification for students and business professionals. Continuing education credit will also be available for professionals. “The Daniels Fund has been tremendously generous to Gonzaga University, as demonstrated by this third grant given in support of the Business Ethics Advantage Program,” said Rev. Robert J. Spitzer, S.J., president of Gonzaga University. Funds from the award will be used to support course development and graduate student scholarships and assistantships, as well as for administrative costs. The Daniels Fund operates the Daniels Scholarship Program and the Daniels Grants Program in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. The Fund was established in 1997 by Bill Daniels, a pioneer in cable television known for his kindness and generosity to those in need.
