GU Symphony to Perform in Spring Concert April 30

The Gonzaga University Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Kevin Hekmatpanah, will perform its spring concert at 7:30 p.m., Monday, April 30 at the Bing Crosby Theatre, formerly the Met Performing Arts Center, downtown Spokane. The concert is open to the public and free to Gonzaga students, faculty and staff.

The orchestra will perform Beethoven’s Pastorale Symphony, Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Procession of the Nobles,” Sibelius’ “Valse Triste” and Borodin’s “Polovetsian Dances.”

Tickets are $5 for non-GU students and $7 general admission. There will be a free shuttle bus leaving from St. Aloysius Church at 6:45 p.m., and 7:10 p.m., returning after the concert.
