Gonzaga University students, faculty and staff are cordially invited to meet with Afghan Deputy Minister of Higher Education Suraya Paikan in the Jundt Art Museum Auditorium (Jundt Room 110) from 11 a.m.-noon, Wednesday, Jan. 24 for an open dialogue regarding ways to improve Afghanistan's higher education institutions, including the leadership and management of the country's 19 institutions of higher education. The dialogue also is expected to address ways to strengthening the higher education administration in Afghanistan, and improve curriculum using new information and technology. After the discussion, members of the GU community will have an opportunity to ask Paikan about higher education in Afghanistan during a question-and-answer session.
