Gonzaga University will celebrate the joyous news of the Christmas season at its 120th annual Christmas Candlelight Concert at 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec. 2 in St. Aloysius Church on the Gonzaga campus, at the corner of Boone Avenue and Astor Street.

The concert will feature the Gonzaga University Choir and Women’s Ensemble, directed by Andrea Dawson, and will include seasonal music ranging from unaccompanied chant to spirituals to accompanied modern-day arrangements of well-known hymn tunes, as well as some traditional Christmas carols. All are welcome to join in proclaiming the story of Christ’s birth through glorious music in a beautiful setting.

Tickets are available online through TicketsWest or by calling 325-SEAT. Tickets also may be purchased through the GU music department at (509) 323-6733, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Advance tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and students. Tickets at the door will be $12.
