The Gonzaga University Alumni Association will launch its New York Chapter with a pre-game holiday reception from 6:30-8:30 p.m., (Eastern) Thursday, Dec. 21, just prior to the GU-Duke men’s basketball game that tips off at 9 p.m. at Madison Square Garden Expo Center. All alumni, parents and friends of Gonzaga are welcome.

Gonzaga President Rev. Robert J. Spitzer, S.J. (‘74) will address the group at 7 p.m. Also, there will also be a gourmet sandwich buffet with wraps, sandwiches, desserts, coffee and tea. There also will be a no-host bar.

Anyone wishing to attend must RSVP. Tickets are $20 now, but will be $25 as of Dec. 1. Commemorative T-shirts also are available for pre-order for $10. To RSVP, click on the following Web site. In addition to tickets for the reception, game tickets also are available through Madison Square Garden, not Gonzaga University.
