GU Offers MBA Course at LC-State College-Cda

Gonzaga University is offering Master’s of Business Administration courses at Lewis-Clark State College-Coeur d’Alene (LCSC-CdA), beginning this fall, announced Kay Carnes, director of Gonzaga’s Graduate School of Business Administration. This new location offers convenience and flexibility to those living in North Idaho, the Spokane Valley and Liberty Lake area. Carnes said she has recognized the growth of commerce in North Idaho and has expanded to this campus in an effort to accommodate business professionals in this area.

This opportunity has been made possible through a partnership with Lewis-Clark State College and North Idaho College. Students needing foundation or prerequisite courses to qualify for graduate admission will now be able to complete this coursework through the Idaho schools. No out-of-state tuition is charged to Washington residents taking seven credits or less at Lewis-Clark State. A reduced out-of-state tuition is available to Washington residents taking pre-MBA classes at North Idaho College.

Two courses are being taught this fall, Operations Theory and Practice (MBUS 625), Aug. 29-Oct. 31; and Service Management (MBUS 644), Nov. 9-Dec. 14. Both classes are scheduled on Thursdays from 5:45-8:15 p.m. In the spring, Economic Theory and Practice (MBUS 610) will be offered Jan. 16-March 27; and The Economics of Gambling (MBUS 638) will be offered April 3-May 1, on Tuesday evenings. With sufficient demand, other courses will be offered in the spring semester.
