Gonzaga University Theatre Arts Program
to Present Shakespeare’s 'Comedy of Errors'

Gonzaga University Theatre Arts will continue its 2005-06 season with “Comedy of Errors,” a play by William Shakespeare. Possibly Shakespeare’s earliest play, it follows the main character, Antipholus, on his journey of confirmation and completion of his identity.

This collection of theatrical complexity opens at Gonzaga’s Russell Theatre on March 31 at 7:30 p.m. Shows continue April 1, 6, 7, and 8 at 7:30 p.m. The closing matinee will be held April 9 at 2 p.m. Prices are $6 for students, $8 for GU faculty and staff, and $10 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at the Russell Theatre Box Office at 502. E. Boone from 3-5 p.m. Monday-Friday starting March 20 or by calling (509) 323-6553.

Director Kevin Bradshaw said he feels the show can be summed up in the words of Antipholus when he says, “I to the world am like a drop of water that in the ocean seeks another drop, who falling there to find his fellow forth, unseen, inquisitive, confounds himself.”
