Summer Blues? Transitioning Back Home

Going home after the completion of a school year is typically something students are really excited about. This transition back home, though, can come with some unexpected angst. A few days after returning home, students often find that they miss home, miss living in the residence halls, and start to talk about how they miss Gonzaga. This transition can be particularly hard for freshman students who have not gone through a "college summer break" before.

LOOK BACK IN GONZAGA HISTORY: 1902-03
Looking forward to Gonzaga University's quasquicentennial celebration (125th anniversary) this year, @Gonzaga continues its monthly series counting back to its founding year, 1887. This series began in September 2010 when we looked back six years to the 2004-05 academic year. Each subsequent monthly story looked back another six years. In this issue, we travel back in time to view highlights of and around the 1902-03 academic year.
