STAFF ASSEMBLY EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MINUTES
Wednesday, August 27, 2003 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
1898 Room – Administration Building
Members Present: Marcia Bertholf, Lisa Meyer, Kathy Sherrick, Kim Gieber, Bill Kostelec, Janice Resch, Linda Sue McClure, Krystal Burns, Mary Beth Charleboix.
The meeting was called to order by President Marcia Bertholf at 12:10 p.m.
Minutes from July 9th, 16th, and 30th were approved.
Old Business
Compensation Committee: Brett’s new data is ready to be entered; Janice reported that the survey is off of the web so Trevor will be contacted to fix. The only change noted from last survey is that people would like information regarding pay per performance. Also, a new section on workload issues is being developed. It was suggested and agreed by all that in future, the Compensation Survey and Staff Satisfaction Surveys should be sent out in January or February of alternate years.
Heads Up: To be held tentatively in September when Fr. Spitzer will address the Mission plan.
Financial Report: Linda Sue presented the final financial report. Book store certificates and budget projections versus actual costs was discussed; other miscellaneous items were highlighted with a few corrections and updates implemented. Report approved.
New Business
September Staff Assembly Open Meeting: It was proposed that September 24th, from 10:30 to 12:00 will be the date for the open meeting. Cookies and beverage to be provided. Russell Theatre as potential location; Thayne McCulloh perhaps to do a presentation on the Accreditation.
By virtue of the bylaws, all Staff Assembly meetings are open unless otherwise designated by the Executive Council. Everyone is welcome to attend.
