STAFF ASSEMBLY EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MINUTES
August 28, 2002 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
1898 Room
Members Present:, Neva Bishop, Keith Gauthier, Theresa Castillo, Trevor Werttemberge, Cathy Perry, William Kostelec, Kim Gieber, Anne Thomas, and Lisa Smythe-Rodino from the Compensation Committee
Members Absent: Krystal Burns, Matthew Wood, Mary Beth Charleboix
The meeting was called to order by President Keith Gauthier at 12:10
Old Business
No update from the administration on the new Regent, Keith will continue to pursue the answer.
Lottery prize suggestions:
November: Grocery Store (Thanksgiving)
December: Riverpark Square
February: Palm Court at the Davenport (Valentine’s day)
Fee for athletic facilities for Faculty and Staff no decided yet.
New Business
No meeting the 1st week of school (September 4th) or September 18th
Tammy Gifford won the August Presidents Lottery. A Gift certificate to Splash down was the prize, because it was not received in a timely manner (processing was slow) Slash down was closed. A certificate to Northtown mall was given as a replacement
Scheduling of future meetings
Next Meeting will be held on September 11, 2002.
Future meetings will be held each Wednesday in 1898 Room from 12:00 – 1:00. Since this is the lunch hour, please feel free to bring your lunch. All SAEC members will be notified if there is a change to this recurring meeting.
By virtue of the bylaws, all Staff Assembly meetings are open unless otherwise designated by the Executive Council. Everyone is welcome to attend.
