STAFF ASSEMBLY EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MINUTES
November 29, 2000 9:00 a.m. Crosby Multipurpose Room

1. Call to Order
The meeting
was called to order by President Scott Murray at 9:05 a.m.
2. Old Business
Promotion Team
Janice read the role draft. There was some discussion
and it was agreed that the committee would be approved
annually at the first meeting of the SAEC. A motion was made to approve
the promotion team committee. Motion
carried unanimously.
Quilt Raffle & Fund Raiser
Fliers were passed around and there was a discussion regarding the fact that the Staff Assembly was not well promoted in the quilt flier, but the downtown shelter flier was a good promotional display for the SA.
Compensation Committee Follow up
A note came out from Wayne Powell that he has requested another
meeting with Harry Sladich and Steve Doolittle. We will be advised of the
outcome.
3. New Business
Guest comments
An issue of
concern was brought to the SAEC’s attention regarding a statement
in the September 6th minutes. There was a discussion and
clarification was made.
Bulletin Article
A memo was presented by a council member expressing concern that an article in the Bulletin did not give the SA the recognition it should have. There was discussion on this matter and we will try to make sure there is better information regarding the SA in future publications.
