SAEC Meeting Minutes
April 13, 2010
Members present: Marcia, Eric, Angela, Roberta, Bill, Connie, Anne, William
Guests: Sharon, Allison, Cathy Dieter
- Sharon and Allison: Service Committee presentation. Reported on their challenges rolling out the United Way campaign. Peculiar circumstances left them without a member from the year before so process was difficult. Alison has put together guidelines on the process for future reference. Their hope is that we take this information and build on it, make it better in the future.
- Bill's letters:
- To Dan Berryman regarding Council involvement in the Peer Advisor review process. Passed by unanimous vote, signed.
- To Thayne, formal winter break proposal. Data would go with the letter. Give it to Mike Herzog, Staff Assembly Liaison to the President, who would pass it to Pres McCulloh.
- Marcia, Spring Open meeting, May 26, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m., We ordered coffee, tea, etc. (Meal money has been donated to Haiti) Sodexho is donating cookies and snacks.
- Cathy Dieter, present to seek suggestions for upcoming regents' meeting. What would we like her to discuss, be aware of, etc.
- CARES, suggestions for roll-out, (William will call Janelle, Rodolfo, etc., to roll it out at Spring Open Meeting)
- HUG, Open Meeting, We always need people who will come with stories regarding their organization, be guest speakers, etc.
- Invite local regents to the annual picnic, sponsorship opportunities,
