Attended:  William Gibson,  Tim Woodard, Ann Price, Angela Ruff, Rodolfo Pagsanjan, Kim Gieber, Connie Hickman

Guest: Krystal Burns

Absent:  William Kostelec, Karen Franks-Harding, Marcia Bertholf

Meeting convened at 1:05 pm and adjourned at 2pm.

Minutes 3/24/09
Kim motioned for approval, Ann seconded, and the group unanimously approved.

Cares Initiative
Rodolfo shared draft of a cover letter to Fr. Spitzer for review, and a draft budget for managing the Cares program.  The group discussed both items, and agreed to review the documents so that the letter and descriptive documents could be signed and provided to Fr. Spitzer prior to the Heads Up Gonzaga event.  Angela will circulate the documents to the committee and help Rodolfo finalize the cover letter.   The letter will be made available for all to sign as soon as possible.  Kim offered to keep the letter at her desk for easy access.

Heads Up Gonzaga
Krystal shared that a formal request for budgeting breakfast at the event will be forthcoming to the Council.  Fr. Spitzer's office is covering the costs of lunch.  The Fr. Spitzer recognition item is in process.  William will assist in fine-tuning the plaque. 

Staff Assembly Ballot
Krystal provided two applications for the Regent position, which will be considered at the next meeting.  Connie Hickman offered to run for  Secretary.   One position is needed for the budget committee.  Krystal will be finalizing the ballot for distribution.
