Staff AssemblyExecutive Council Meeting

November 16,2005

Members Present: Kelly Earnest, Krystal Burns, Rick Smith, Mary Beth Charleboix,Linda Sue McClure, Brady Nielsen, Crystal Roberg, Tim Woodard(guest of Rick Smith) and Connie Hickman

Agenda Topics Discussed:

-        Staff Assembly Website:  Discussion concerned thebest way to maintain the SA website and make sure it is current anduseful.  Questions thatneed to be answered include what do we want to see on the websiteand who is responsible for updating.  Conclusions were that thewebsite should include an explanation of SA, list activities,highlight progress toward goals, list meeting dates and haveminutes for staff members to read.  The need for committeepages and pictures was also discussed.

-        Visual display for SA: Several bulletin boards have been identified as potential space fora SA board. Follow-up is needed to see who currently has“ownership” of the boards. 

-        Committee descriptions:  SA members are continuingto review descriptions.

-        AVP Human Resources position:  SA members were encouragedto forward any questions they have to Georgia Dunham.

-        Trevor Werttemberger, President of SA, broke his leg in anaccident. Maybe SA could help with food delivery J

-        Treasurer’s Report: Linda Sue McClure is filling in as acting Treasurer.
