STAFF ASSEMBLY EXECUTIVE COUNCILMINUTES

October 23, 2002 12:00 – 1:00p.m.

The meeting was called to order by Keith at12:10

New Business

Keith Spoke with Gary at Marriott regarding a $10credit on an employee’s id for the anniversary gift.  Gary didn’t see a problemwith it, however needs to see what the cost would be.  He will get back toKeith.

November Staff Assembly open meeting – No date as ofyet, need to hear back from Raymond Reyes regarding the “video” toshow or not to show.

Mandatory Supervisor Training

         Need clarification on whether Faculty will be included in this, asthere are some faculty that supervise staff.

Basketball tickets:

         Mike Roth has released the new policy ondistribution.

                  2 tickets per Staff/Faculty regardless ofdependents

                  Need GU Id to get tickets and into games

         The tickets have assigned seats and will be attached to your Id;Athletics will be tracking no shows.

No answer yet on whether staff will be charged to usethe Sports facilities.

Scheduling of futuremeetings

Next Meeting will be held on October 30, 2002. Futuremeetings will be held each Wednesday in 1898 Room from 12:00 –1:00.  Since this isthe lunch hour, please feel free to bring your lunch.  All SAEC members will benotified if there is a change to this recurringmeeting.

By virtue ofthe bylaws, all Staff Assembly meetings are open unless otherwisedesignated by the Executive Council.  Everyone is welcome toattend.
