The “In this together” harassment training isdifferent from what the Diversity training willbe.

Bob Bartlett spoke to the SAEC regarding thepresentation of “National Pastime” by the Onyx Theatre.  This will be performed atGonzaga Prep on February 23.  This is for all of theGonzaga Faculty and Staff and their families.  He asked us to get theinformation out to the and to facilitate ticket distribution tostaff

Steve Doolittle asked for input on how theAdministration could communicate better with the staff.  This came out of the jointmemo sent to Father Spitzer from the Staff Assembly Executivecouncil and the Faculty Assembly Executive council.

Steve suggested a Colloquium of some sort for justStaff. This would mean at least a half-day with a food and officeswould have to close.

His questions to the SAEC are

What would staff like this to be?

What do we want to accomplish?

What questions do we want answered?

Ann commented that a meeting that included a breakout of smaller groups would have to include training for thefacilitators.  Steveanswered with the facilitators would be the VPs.

Other comments were:

The information needs to be disseminated

This should be a dialogue…. not just a Father Spitzerspeech

Training on What is community? What iscommunication?

         Follow through is important.

Steve suggested that the meeting be held midFebruary, however the SAEC asked that it be moved to March orApril.
