STAFF ASSEMBLY EXECUTIVE COUNCILMINUTES

The meeting was called to order by PresidentBill Kostelec at 12:10.
OldBusiness
Minutes from 11/28 passed
Minutes from 12/5 passed as amended
Compensation Committee will move forward onproposal two and report to the executive council with a draftproposal. Items thatthey will take a look at are: employees paid below the povertylevel and GU’s recognition of this in the form of donations toemployees, moving to 40 hr work week, revamping the compensationsystem.
Bill presented a draft of the list of moraleboosting ideas for Father Spitzer. This list will be amendedand finalized at the next meeting.
Thank you letter to Father Spitzer for consideringthe 3-day proposal and for taking the proposal to the cabinet wassigned by all members of the executive council that werepresent.
Scheduling of futuremeetings
No meetings on December 26 or January 2. Regular weekly meetingswill resume on January 9. Future meetings will beheld each Wednesday in Crosby Large Conference Room from 12:00 –1:00. Since this isthe lunch hour, please feel free to bring your lunch. All SAEC members will benotified if there is a change to this recurring meeting.
By virtue of the bylaws, all StaffAssembly meetings are open unless otherwise designated by theExecutive Council. Everyone is welcome to attend.
