1. Call toOrder Scott Murray called the meeting to order at 9:05a.m. |
2. OldBusiness a. Recap oflast meeting. New sub-committee for space needs is beingformed. The ID badges were ordered, received and were worn at thePresident’s Picnic. Scott and Marilyn met with Harry Sladich regardingbudget. They also gotinput from Sue Weitz, who feels that the amount requested is toomuch. We will gatherand organize information for a presentation to Harry. We mayconsider having a treasurer if we get a budgetestablished. |
3. New Business a. Advocates Nancy Masingale, Victoria Loveland, and Trisha Burns gave apresentation explaining the Advocate program. Nancy Masingale isthe Staff Assembly Advocate Liason. b. Compensation Overview Guests: Steve Doolittle (HR), Heather Murray (HR), Bobbie League.These representatives gave a Human Resources Presentation with handouts. The presentation coveredthe Current Compensation Overview, Pay for Performance Update, and Performance ManagementSystem Review. A suggestion was made to have the Staff Assemblyassist Human Resources in approaching the university on thistopic. A discussion took place on this subject a decision ispending. c. Meetings Effective November 1, 2000, The Staff Assembly Executive Committeewill meet for one hour every other meeting instead of two hours every otherweek.
