STAFFASSEMBLY EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MINUTES

1.                 Call to Order

The meetingwas called to order by President Scott Murray at 9:05 a.m.

2.                 Old Business

Promotion Team

           Janice read the role draft.  There was some discussionand it was agreed that the committee would be approvedannually at the first meeting of the SAEC. A   motion was made to approvethe promotion team committee. Motioncarried unanimously.

Quilt Raffle& Fund Raiser

Fliers werepassed around and there was a discussion regarding the fact thatthe Staff Assembly was not well promoted in the quilt flier, butthe downtown shelter flier was a good promotional display for theSA.

           Compensation Committee Follow up

                      A note came out from Wayne Powell that he has requested anothermeeting with Harry Sladich and Steve Doolittle.  We will be advised of theoutcome.

3.                 New Business

Guestcomments

An issue ofconcern was brought to the SAEC’s attention regarding a statementin the September 6th minutes.  There was a discussion andclarification was made.

           Bulletin Article

A memo waspresented by a council member expressing concern that an article inthe Bulletin did not give the SA the recognition it shouldhave.  There wasdiscussion on this matter and we will try to make sure there isbetter information regarding the SA in future publications.
