This page contains information regarding current Staff Assembly issues. If you have questions or need more information on any of these proposals, please send us an e-mail. Please also let us know if you have an issue you would like to bring before the Assembly. Staff Assembly meetings are open to all staff members and are generally held the first and third Wednesday of each month at noon in the 1898 Room.To confirm information regarding a specific meeting, please contact the Staff Assembly Secretary.

Community Service Proposal- In keeping with the tradition of service mentioned in Gonzaga's mission statement, the Staff Assembly Executive Council has requested that each employee be allowed to take one day per year, with pay, to perform service to the community. Joint Compensation Proposal- Together, the Staff and Faculty Assemblies submitted the attached proposal to Fr. Spitzer for consideration. The memo thanks the University's administration for the recent increase in pension matching benefits, but respectfully requests that they address issues related to pay. Specifically, we're asking the University to again examine merit-based pay and work to ensure that all employees are paid a living wage. Fr. Spitzer issued an initial response to this proposal. Vacation Proposal for 9 & 10-Month Employees- This proposal was designed to provide prorated vacation benefits for employees who are on 9 and 10 month contracts, who currently receive no vacation. Click here to view the Administration's response.

Pension Proposal- In response to an earlier proposal, the Administration has agreed to increase the amount Gonzaga contributes to our retirement pensions. Click the link for the full memo.
