AASHE

Gonzaga is an institutional member of The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).  AASHE is an organization of 926 member and 291 associate member colleges and universities that are working to advance sustainability in higher education.   AASHE defines sustainability as "an inclusive way encompassing human and ecological health, social justice, secure livelihoods and a better world for all generations."   In order to promote this definition of sustainability, AASHE serves as a home for many resources and forums where universities and colleges can share information about their own campuses as well as gather information about other institutions.
