Friday, November 1
Last date to submit your "application to graduate" for students graduating in the spring of 2014 without late fee

Saturday, November 2
Late fee of $25.00 (US) will be assessed if "application to graduate" for spring of 2014 is submitted this date and after

Saturday, February 1
Last date to submit your "application to graduate" for students graduating in the summer and fall of 2014 without late fee

Sunday, February 2
Late fee of $25.00 (US) will be assessed if "application to graduate" for summer and fall of 2014 is submitted this date and after

Monday, March 3
LAST DATE TO ORDER CAP AND GOWN WITHOUT LATE FEE

Tuesday, March 4 to Friday, April 18
LATE FEE of $15.00 (US) will be assessed on cap & gown orders postmarked this date and after.

Saturday, April 19  through Commencement
LAST MINUTE CAP AND GOWN ORDERS - Cap and gown orders will be accepted based on availability. Additional air shipping charges will apply. 

Late April:  REHEARSAL INFORMATION E-MAILED TO STUDENTS - to facilitate many of our students who do not live on campus.

NOTE: DOCTORAL CAP & GOWN DISTRIBUTION - at Doctoral Banquet (scheduled by Doctoral office)

Friday, May 9
2:30 to 6:00 p.m. - CAP & GOWN PICK-UP for Masters Students,  2nd floor balcony of The Martin Centre - by the pool entrance

Saturday, May 10
12:30 to 4:00 p.m. - CAP & GOWN PICK-UP for Masters Students, 2nd floor balcony of The Martin Centre - by the pool entrance
By 1:00 p.m. - STUDENTS ASSEMBLE FOR BACCALAUREATE MASS (Optional) in academic attire in The Martin Centre.
1:30 p.m. - BACCALAUREATE MASS (Optional), in the McCarthey Athletic Center (doors will open at 12:15 p.m.)  Students may invite as many quests as they wish to the Mass and no tickets will be required for admission.
4:00 p.m. - GRADUATING STUDENTS LINE UP, in old gym in The Martin Centre. Guests may proceed directly to the McCarthey Athletic Center.
4:40 p.m. - ACADEMIC PROCESSION BEGINS
5:00 p.m. - CEREMONY BEGINS in the McCarthey Athletic Center.
6:45 to 7:45 p.m. - (After Ceremony) - SOCIAL FOR GRADUATES, FACULTY AND FAMILIES, South Lawn of The Martin Centre (if raining, ceremony will be moved inside to old gym)

• If you plan to attend Commencement and you have special needs for seating or the stage, please contact Susie Prusch at 509.323.5571 or by e-mail at: prusch@gu.gonzaga.edu ASAP so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you. There is plenty of handicapped seating for guests in the McCarthey Athletic Center.

• We invite you to stop by and pick up those special souvenirs at either the Zagshop Main Store in the  BARC (open Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, Saturday 10:00am-4:00pm, & closed Sunday) or at the Zagshop Team Store on the west end of campus on the corner of Ruby and Boone (open Monday-Saturday 10:00am-4:00pm, & Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm).

• Crosby Student Center will be open Friday 7:30am-8:00pm, Saturday 10:00am-4:00pm, & Sunday 1:00-4:00pm will the Crosby Espresso Cafe open Friday 7:30am-8:00pm & Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm.  See Bing Crosby's gold and platinum records and relax with a latte.
