Tomorrow Made Possible
Tomorrow Made Possible is designed to engage and educate students about philanthropy at Gonzaga and is a way to celebrate all of the people who make a Gonzaga education possible. Although we celebrate Tomorrow Made Possible each April, we want students to recognize that their tomorrow is made possible every day.
What is Tomorrow Made Possible?
Tuition and fees do not cover the full cost of the Gonzaga experience. Every year, the University supplements student tuition with thousands of dollars of additional support, with the goal of making your education as affordable as possible. Each department on campus is reliant on philanthropic gifts in order to give you the best Jesuit education and student experience possible.
This could not be achieved without financial support from alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff to help offset the full cost for you to attend GU. Your future inspires all of us. The entire Gonzaga community contributes to developing our students into tomorrow's leaders. Whether the gift is $10 or $10 million, each gift makes an incredible impact on the quality of a Gonzaga education.
How do gifts keep the total cost of education lower?
Gifts help close the gap between what you pay in tuition and what it actually costs to attend Gonzaga. Without private support, your tuition may have to substantially increase to cover the total cost of your education.
Who gives money to Gonzaga?
One of the main components of being a Zag is having a giving spirit - which is reflected in the generosity of alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students and friends of Gonzaga University. Going beyond our Gonzaga Community, corporations and foundations view supporting Gonzaga as a valuable investment too!
Where does the money GU receives from donors go?
Gonzaga University has a proud legacy of philanthropy:
- The cost of a Gonzaga education is supported through scholarships for current students.
- The Foley Library, Jundt Art Center, McCarthey Athletic Center, Rudolf Fitness Center and the Student Chapel were all made possible because of philanthropy.
- Support enhances the classroom experience by updating technology, lab equipment and expanding research opportunities.
- Student Life programming and involvement opportunities through Student Activities, University Ministry, and CCASL are also made possible through gifts and grants to the University.
How can you stay connected to Gonzaga?
