Students want to come to Gonzaga because of the quality education we offer. For most, it becomes reality only because of the financial aid we provide.
Nine out of ten undergraduates receives financial aid from Gonzaga. One way this aid is provided is directly from tuition. Out of every dollar of tuition Gonzaga receives, 40 cents is returned to the students in the form of financial aid. As you can imagine, every time tuition goes up, so does the need for financial aid. It's a seemingly endless cycle. But it doesn't have to be. The more support given by friends and alumni, the less reliant Gonzaga's operating budget is on tuition income.
This is where scholarships come in! Much of the aid the University is able to provide comes from the more than 270 endowed scholarships which have been created by alumni and friends. Learn here how you might contribute to an existing scholarship or perhaps create your own named scholarship at Gonzaga - becoming a part of a living legacy: Names That Live.
