Here are some helpful answers to common questions about the training website.
1 . How do I log into the training site?^
2 . How do I register for classes?^
First, log in to the training site, then go to the "Course Calendar" on the top menu bar. Select a course and chose "enroll". A confirmation email will be sent to you to let you know you have registered for a class.
3 . How do I cancel a class?^
4 . I am logged in but I cannot see the Software classes?^
5 . I am logged in but I cannot see the HR or Safety classes?^
6 . I am not sure what a particular course is --How do I see a description of the course?^
7 . Are there any course files or tutorials I can read before the class?^
Many classes do have course documentation/tutorials available for download from the training website in Word or PDF format.. You will find them under"Course Sign-Up" or click on any course and it will take you to the "Course Sign-Up" page. The course materials are located on the same page under "Course Files".
8 . What do I do if I don't find the course I'm looking for?^
9 . Do you offer Office 2007 or Microsoft Vista Training?^
Currently, our training for Microsoft Office 2007 or Vista is in development for later this calendar year (2007). However, until then you can still get Office 2007 and Microsoft Vista training through our online SkillPort software training. To access SkillPort you need an account. These accounts are at no charge to Gonzaga Faculty and Staff. Contact Erik Blackerby at blackerby@its.gonzaga.edu for information or to try out our demo SkillPort account.
