Retiree Accounts

Some retiree accounts are not working properly

Missing some or all email

 

Once identified the resolution is quick (within an hour), but it is dependent on the user calling the IT Support Center and letting us know. 

Troubleshooting - We are working to find commonalities between accounts with missing emails so we can proactively find and repair these accounts.


Connectivity to O365

Users state that connectivity to O365 from their laptop has issues after leaving campus as well as when they return to campus.

User Licensing

There are some inconsistencies in licensing between users

24hr DNS issue

 

Once the MX record was changed, it took some entities off campus time to correctly change their saved information on where to send email.  This resulted in some emails being sent to the old Zagmail service rather than the new.  Communications went out informing the community.

GSBA Accounts

 

Some GSBA accounts were not activated properly with licensing as well as mailboxes were not migrated.

Web page SSL issue

 

https was not configured for the new zagmail.gonzaga.edu web page, although it wasn’t required, some browsers were expecting it.
