Modified Classroom Furniture

Students use a variety of modified furniture for a variety of reasons. Some examples are wheelchair accessible tables, chairs with supportive backs, and tables on which to place adaptive technology such as camera systems. Students may even use modified furniture to accommodate pregnancy.

Please notice where the table or other furniture has been placed in the classroom, and note if the student must move the furniture to use it effectively. Please assist the student by making sure the furniture is in the proper place prior to class.

If the furniture disappears at any point during the semester, please contact the office of Disability Resources, Education, & Access Management (DREAM) for recovery. If you notice problems with usage of the furniture, or that the student is not using the furniture for any reason, please contact us at extension x4091 or (509) 323-4091.
