Housing Accommodations
GonzagaUniversityprovides housing accommodations for qualified students with a disability that substantially limits a life function.  If you would like to make a housing accommodation request based on a documented disability or medical condition, documentation supporting the request must be submitted to the office of Disability Resources, Education, & Access Management (DREAM) by the following dates: For new students entering in the fall – May 15th
For current students requesting for upcoming fall – December 1st
All requests are reviewed and prioritized according to severity of need and availability of space. All information submitted for consideration of housing accommodations is considered confidential.

Procedure:
·         Submit documentation to Disability Resources, Education, & Access Management for review (allow ten days for review)
·         Have a personal interview with representative of the DREAM to discuss impact of disability, requested accommodations, and possible alternatives
·         After interview and review of documentation, DREAM will make recommendations to the office of Housing and Residence Life
·         A representative of Housing and Residence Life will contact you about implementing accommodations if possible within budgetary and space constraints or to discuss alternative arrangements

Single roomsare not granted based on a need for quiet study space.  Residence halls are designed as living spaces.  We ask students who need very quiet environments for study to seek other places on campus that are designated as quiet study areas.
