Disability Resources is dedicated to providing students an equal opportunity to participate in any University program or activity in the pursuit of their educational goals. We recognize that disability is not static, but a frequently changing part of an individuals life experience.
Once a student is set up to receive services from Disability Resources, they will be required to attend an Academic Adjustment Meeting with the Assistant Director each semester. At this time, the student is given an opportunity to share how their academic adjustments worked for them and brainstorm any alterations that may improve that student's educational experience at GU.
If at any time a student finds that their academic adjustments are not meeting their needs, they are encouraged to meet with a Disability Resources staff member. With supporting documentation, academic accommodations can be changed at any time throughout the academic year.
