We would like to invite your participation in Gonzaga University’s fifth annual Portland Trek Career Fair sponsored by the Gonzaga Alumni Mentor Program (GAMP) on January 8, 2008.
Our location in Eastern Washington limits our students’ access to employers in the Portland/Vancouver area, thus putting them at a competitive disadvantage. The goal in organizing this event is to provide a forum that allows employers in the region to meet our students and alumni for the purpose of discussing current and future employment opportunities with their organization. We are confident that you will be pleased with the quality of our students and alumni.
The Career Fair will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 from 3:00-5:00 PM (employer setup begins at 2:00PM), in the Mayflower Ballroom of the Benson Hotel. The Benson is located at 309 SW Broadway in downtown Portland. After the career fair we will host a social that will allow you to meet some of our students and alumni in a more informal setting.
This career fair is unique because of its premise. We are bringing students and alumni to you, in Portland. With no cost to employers, this program offers employers a unique way to augment existing recruitment efforts. Even if you are not currently hiring, participating in this event allows your organization to remain visible to our student population and strengthen your relationship with the finest private university in the Pacific Northwest.
