In keeping with Gonzaga University's long tradition of service to others, the Gonzaga Alumni Mentor Program (GAMP) was developed by the Alumni Association in 1996. The program provides career development and networking assistance to alumni and friends of the University. This development assistance takes several forms, including career planning advice for undergraduate students and networking and relocation information for graduating students and alumni. While contacts made through the program may lead to employment, GAMP is not a placement or referral service, but provides rather, information and advice about professional fields and careers. Encouraged by the University's mission, mentee participants most often become mentors in the program as their own professional development continues.
