College can be an anxiety inducing experience, for both students and parents.  Academic Services offers support to not only students, but parents as well.  If you've been to campus during Fall Family Weekend or New Student Orientation, you may have seen one of our parent presentations.  Click here to download the most recent presentation, given at Fall Family Weekend 2009.  FFW is held the 4th weekend of each October.  New Student Orientation begins the week preceding the start of each fall semester.  We've linked FFW and New Student Orientation to our site for easier browsing.  These links are located on the left hand side of your screen.

We've also attached the FERPA (Federal Rights and Privacy Act) waiver form to our website.  Without this completed form, we cannot speak to you in specifics regarding your student.  Have your student fill this form out and return it to the Office of Academic Services, College Hall 326, or mail it to 502 E Boone Box 27, Spokane, WA  99258-0027.  For more information about FERPA, click here

If you are concerned about your student, but don't have a FERPA waiver on file, please complete an Early Warning System referral form. EWS is a unique system created to address student issues and concerns that reaches out to resources across the university to get your student the help they need in an efficient manner.  For more information about EWS, please click on the link on the left hand side of this screen.
