Welcome to GU!
Your first-semester course schedule will be constructed for you based on the information you give to us in the coming months. The registration process is completely electronic, handled via e-mail and web.
You will receive an e-mail from us the coming weeks with a series of questions regarding the area of study you would like to pursue at Gonzaga. This e-mail will be sent to the address you provided in your application for admission to GU, however, please note that once you receive your Gonzaga e-mail account, ALL e-mail communication from the University will be sent to that address only. You will receive your Gonzaga e-mail account in June (a letter will be mailed to you from our Central Computing department with set-up and access directions for your GU account).
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NOW:
Start thinking about a major. What do you want to study? Learn about the academic programs offered at GU and find out what courses are required for majors that interest you. You will have the opportunity to tell us what you are interested in studying later, so now you should start thinking about possible majors.
If you are not sure about what you want to study, that’s okay! And if you have changed your mind about your academic interest, that’s okay too! We want you to make an informed decision about the major that interests you. We've listed the possibilities, just click and explore!
College of Arts and Sciences majors:
Biochemistry (Chemistry with Biochemistry option)
Pre-Professional Programs:
School of Business Administration
School of Engineering and Applied Science programs:
General Engineering (with a 5th year MBA option)
School of Education programs:

IMPORTANT NOTE:
When you receive the registration e-mail from us in the coming weeks, please follow the instructions carefully and heed all deadlines! You will not be selecting courses during this process; you will be telling us what you are interested in studying and we will create your schedule for you. Deadlines for returning information to us will be included in the e-mail. Missed deadlines could impact your ability to register for some courses in high demand.
DON’T FORGET:
Forward all official transcripts of college work to GU immediately AND when final grades are submitted; this lets us know what you are taking to avoid being placed in a duplicate course and provides us with final grades so any applicable credit can be posted to your GU record. Also, make sure AP/IB scores are sent to GU directly (we need an official transcript). "Official" means that the transcript or scores are sent to GU directly from the institution where you took the course or exam. A copy from you is not official!
