You may be placed in one of the following School of Business Administration core requirements in the first semester depending on course availability:

• BUSN 101 World of Business
• BUSN 111 Business Computing
• ECON 201 Microeconomics

Business students take one of the following MATH courses in the first semester as well:

• MATH 112 College Algebra*
• MATH 114 Math Analysis for Business
• MATH 148 Survey of Calculus
• MATH 157 Calculus and Analytic Geometry I

MATH placement is determined by the Office of Academic Services and Math Department using the student's high school transcript and standardized test scores.  MATH 114, 148 and 157 fulfill the business math requirement.
