Pre-Law

Pre-Law

Pre-Law is not a major.  Rather, it is a course of study designed to help students prepare for law school. Students planning to attend law school can major in anything and will have the opportunity to consult with a Pre-Law advisor in the fall during New Student Orientation (details about this meeting will be provided when you arrive to campus in your New Student Orientation packet).

Students interested in Pre-Law studies do not have any required courses in their first semester, but may be placed in POLS 101 American Politics.

For program information and course descriptions, please visit the on-line Undergraduate Catalogue. You will follow the 2013-14 Undergraduate Catalogue - this is your contract with the University, and vis versa. Be sure to review the information in the 13-14 catalogue when it becomes available (the catalogue is still under review, and should be posted to the website this summer). Until then, please refer to the 2012-2013 Undergraduate Catalogue, as much of the information is the same.
