Nursing

The School of Nursing and Human Physiology offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing to students who apply and are accepted to Nursing through the Admission process before entering Gonzaga.  Students who are not admitted to the program will not be allowed to pursue Nursing as a major at Gonzaga.  If you were not admitted to Nursing at Gonzaga and would like assistance in choosing another major, please contact Academic Advising and Assistance at 509-313-4072.

For students who applied and were accepted for Nursing at Gonzaga (we know who you are), your first semester schedule will include some or all of the following courses, depending on availability:

  • NURS 100 Nursing Perspectives
  • MATH 121 Introduction to Statistics
  • BIOL 105 Information Flow in Biological Systems

One of the following courses:

  • PSYC 101 Introduction to Psychology
  • SOCI 101 Introduction to Sociology

For program information and course descriptions, please visit the on-line Undergraduate Catalogue. You will follow the 2014-15 Undergraduate Catalogue.  This catalogue is currently under construction but should be posted sometime this summer.  In the meantime, please refer to the 2013-2014 Undergraduate Catalogue, as much of the information is the same for admitted Nursing majors.
