| Job Purpose |
| The College of Arts and Sciences seeks candidates for the new Native American Studies program director beginning fall semester 2013. The teaching load is 9 credits per year (a 2-1 teaching load) with significant additional responsibilities for developing the program. |

| Required Qualifications |
- Ph.D. in scholarly area represented in the College of Arts and Sciences
- Evidence of research/scholarly activities in Native American studies
|
|
| Desired Qualifications |
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing Native American Studies curriculum/coursework
- Experience working on collaborative projects between tribal and non-tribal organizations
|
