To be eligible for Financial Aid, students must first file a FAFSA
Information and documents you will need before you file:
- Gonzaga's Federal School Code - 003778.
- Your student PIN to login and sign the FAFSA (if you have not yet applied for one, you may do so at www.pin.ed.gov.
- Your 2010 Federal Tax Return. If this is not yet complete, you may use your W2's, your final pay stub from 2010, or your 2009 Federal Tax Return for estimates. Once your 2010 taxes have been filed, you may visit the FAFSA website and update your information.
- Current bank account and investment information.

Financial Aid Available to Graduate & Doctoral Students
Graduate and Doctoral Students are eligible for Federal Stafford Loans as part of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process. File your FAFSA every year to receive financial aid.
Graduate and Doctoral Students are eligible to receive up to $20,500 in Stafford Loans each academic year; up to $8,500 may be subsidized. The interest rate for these loans is set at 6.8% for the 2011-2012 academic year.

Graduate and Doctoral Students may be eligible for Graduate Assistantships, which are awarded on a competitive basis through academic departments. To apply for Graduate Assistantships, please contact the department of the program in which you are enrolled.
How do I apply?
Graduate students must complete the FAFSA application and be fully admitted as a matriculated student in a graduate or doctoral program.
IMPORTANT: Check Your ZagMail Account
All official correspondence from the Financial Aid Office is sent to your Gonzaga email address only. You should not have your Gonzaga email forwarded to a personal account, as it could risk the security of our correspondence or block important messages from our office.
Scholarships
