CASHNet Instructions for Students

Students log into CASHNet through their Zagweb account and click "Electronic Billing, Payment and Deposits"

Authorized payers log into http://zagweb.gonzaga.edu/authorizedpayer.  You will need the login name supplied by the student and password that was emailed to you from CASHNet.  The first time you log in, you will be required to change your password for security purposes.

Setting Up Authorized Payer Accounts

Students must set up authorized payer accounts to allow others, such as parents, spouses, or employers, to view their bills and make online payments toward their student account.  To set up an authorized payer account, follow the instructions below:

  1. Log on to http://zagweb.gonzaga.edu
  2. Enter Secure Area
  3. Enter GU ID or SSN in User ID
    Enter PIN.  (If you have forgotten your pin, please contact the Registrar's office at 313-6592 or the Student Accounts office at 313-6812)
  4. Click on Login
  5. Select "Electronic Billing, Payment and Deposits"
  6. Click on "Enter CASHNet"
  7. Click on "Add New" in the Parent PINS Box
    Choose a Parent PIN (a unique login name for that person), enter their email address, the password will be system generated and emailed directly to the authorized  payer.  Click "Yes" to both the "person login" and "bill notification by email" questions.  Click "OK" to create the account.
  8. Once you've created the accounts, provide the authorized payer with their login name(s), and the following website address:
    http://zagweb.gonzaga.edu/authorizedpayer.

When the authorized payer logs into their account, they will need to create a new password and then will be able to view your bills and make payments to your account.

Viewing Online Statements and Making a Payment on Student Account

Students will receive email notifications at their GU email address when their newest statement is available to be viewed.  Authorized payers will receive notifications at their specified email address.  The newest statements will appear in the "Your  Bills" section.   For instructions on how a student makes a payment on CASHNet see instructions below:

  1. Log on to http://zagweb.gonzaga.edu
  2. Enter Secure Area
  3. Enter GU ID or SSN in User ID
  4. Enter PIN
  5. Click on Login
    You will be connected to Zagweb's Main Menu screen
  6. Select "Electronic Billing, Payment and Deposits"
  7. Click on "Make an electronic payment" at the bottom of page
  8. Click "Make Payment" at top of page
  9. Click "Payment on Account"
  10. Enter amount of payment and click "Make Payment"
  11. Verify amount a click "Continue"
  12. Agree to proceed and click on "Continue Checkout"
    Complete your credit card information or checking/savings account information.  Do not add any spaces, dashes or punctuation marks.
    Credit Cards accepted are MasterCard, Discover, Diner's Club and American Express.  A 2.75% service fee is added to the payment amount.  No service fee applies to an eCheck.
  13. Complete your address information
  14. Click "Submit Payment"

Making a Deposit via CASHNet

  1. Log on to Zagweb:  http://zagweb.gonzaga.edu
  2. Enter Secure Area
  3. Enter GU ID or SSN in User ID
  4. Enter PIN
  5. Click on Login
  6. You will be connected to Zagweb's Main Menu screen
  7. Click on "Electronic Billing, Payment and Deposits"
  8. Click on "Enter CASHNet"
  9. Click "Make Payment" at top of page
  10. Click "Deposit" a list of all university deposits will appear
  11. Select the specific study abroad program that you will be attending
  12. The amount will automatically be filled in with the deposit amount for your study abroad program. 
    Click "Make Payment"
  13. Verify the study abroad program name, deposit amount, and click "Continue"
  14. Select your Method of Payment and click on "Continue Checkout"
  15. Complete your credit card information or checking/savings account information.  Do not add any spaces, dashes or punctuation marks.
  16. Complete your address information.
  17. Click "Submit Payment"
    Be sure to add studyabroad@gonzaga.edu as a recipient of the email receipt so that we know you have made your deposit.

 Using Saved Payment Methods

When entering payment details on the eCheck or credit card payment sites, you may choose to have the site save your payment information for future use.   Saved payment methods are only available to the account in which they were created; students cannot make payments using saved payment methods from authorized payers on their account and vice-versa.

If the student updates the authorized payer's account information (such as password or email address), the saved payment methods will be removed, ensuring the security of your payment information. 

 Resetting an Authorized Payer's Password

  1. Enter Secure Area
  2. Enter GU ID or SSN in User ID
  3. Enter PIN
  4. Click on Login
  5. Select "Electronic Billing, Payment and Deposits"
  6. Click on "Enter CASHNet"
  7. Look for "Parent PINs" window and click on "Edit" next to the authorized payer your are resetting.
  8. For security reasons, when an authorized payer password is reset all saved payment information is deleted.
