Looking for a volleyball coach for a 6 week volleyball camp ages 7-12 year olds on Thursday evenings 6:30-7:30 at Hamblen Elementary on the South Hill.
We are seeking to employ a tutor for our 2nd grade daughter. She is a very bright child who does not have a formal disability diagnosis but does learn in a different manner than typical. We are looking for someone who is patient, responsible, open to alternative teaching methods, and willing to help her fill in gaps in her knowledge that her peers have already learned. If needed, we will provide consultation with a professional who works with kids of all kinds of abilities and is involved with her school. Work would include walking her home from school (2 blocks from our house, on the South Hill) Monday thru Thursday (potentially Friday too) at 3:00, and 1.5 to 2.0 hours of tutoring time. Days may be flexible if mutually agreed.
Qualifications:
Education, Special Ed student preferred but not required if applicant in another field of study has tutoring experience. Student must be a non-smoker with reliable transportation for themselves (no child transport required). We will pay for a background check to allow the student access to the elementary school. Training will be provided as needed by a licensed professional therapist.

My wife and I have an 8 year old son and an 11 year old daughter and we are looking for after school childcare for them, Tuesday - Friday. We live on 26th Ave, just a block south of Manito Park.
Qualifications:
Job qualification #1: These are impressionable years for the kiddos so we are looking for someone who can play, crack jokes and has the capacity to show the kids how to enjoy life in a manner that doesn't cramp the style of someone else who is also just trying to enjoy life.
Qualification #2: There is a fair amount of shuttling to/from soccer practices and school so punctuality, your own vehicle and sane driving skills are key.
Qualification #3: There will be some light housework thrown into the mix. Preparing snacks, cleaning up the kitchen after preparing said snacks, etc.
