| This is an HHMI-funded tenure-track position to be filled at the Assistant Professor level. |

| Essential Functions |
- The teaching load for this position is 15 credits per academic year.
- Principal teaching duties will be in general chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, biochemistry and biophysical chemistry
- The successful candidate will be expected to establish a research program involving undergraduates and to advise chemistry majors completing their required research projects.

| Required Qualifications |
- An earned Ph.D. in a related field and a commitment to undergraduate teaching and liberal arts education is required.
- Expertise must be in the area of computational biochemistry with preferred research interests in projects that complement current projects in the departments of Chemistry, Biology and/or Computer Science.

Starting date: Last week of August, 2009 (new faculty conference)
Salary: Salaries at Gonzaga are competitive, and are established by reference to departmental averages for comparable institutions that submit data to the College and University Personnel Association.
