Job Purpose
This is an HHMI-funded tenure-track position to be filled at the Assistant Professor level.
Essential Functions
  • The teaching load for this position is 15 credits per academic year.
  • Principal teaching duties will be in general chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, biochemistry and biophysical chemistry
  • The successful candidate will be expected to establish a research program involving undergraduates and to advise chemistry majors completing their required research projects.
Required Qualifications
  • An earned Ph.D. in a related field and a commitment to undergraduate teaching and liberal arts education is required.
  • Expertise must be in the area of computational biochemistry with preferred research interests in projects that complement current projects in the departments of Chemistry, Biology and/or Computer Science.
