Summer 2008
GAMP continues to grow and prosper through the efforts of our dedicated alumni and friends who volunteer their time and energy to help us advance the mission of Gonzaga University. And our Mission Statement is very explicit in addressing the importance of preparing men and women to enter into the workforce:
“We hope that the integration of liberal humanistic learning and skills with a specialized competence will enable our graduates to enter creatively, intelligently, and with deep moral conviction into a variety of endeavors, and provide leadership in the arts, the professions, business, and public service.”
An essential element in the professional success of our graduates is the support and mentoring they received from individuals throughout the campus community. Faculty, staff, and fellow students have all provided mentoring to Gonzaga students over the years GAMP has simply extended the network of support beyond our campus boundaries by recruiting and organizing volunteers who contribute their knowledge and experience in helping students make informed career decisions and identify appropriate employment opportunities.
We hope you will consider becoming part of our GAMP network and make a positive difference in the life of a Gonzaga University student.
Sincerely,
Kevin Pratt
Director of GAMP
