What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is the Crosby Student Center because it's so welcoming and friendly. It's just like walking into your family room at home. I always see someone I know and enjoy grabbing a coffee and sitting at a table to study or just hang out.
What about your favorite place in Spokane?
Riverfront Park is my favorite place in Spokane to get off campus and relax. It's so beautiful and it's a great place to go for a run.
Which class and/or professor have you enjoyed the most so far?
'Literature of Quests and Arrivals' with Dr. Tod Marshall has been my favorite class so far because we were able to analyze modern literature using a classic archetype. The small class size helped facilitate engaging group discussion that enhanced my learning.
Give us a fun fact about you:
I can recite the entire "To be or not to be" Soliloquy and I've touched Taylor Swift's hair.
What extra-curricular activity do you enjoy the most?
Besides being a Gonzaga Ambassador, playing for Gonzaga's Women's Club Volleyball team is my favorite activity to be involved in. I wanted to keep playing volleyball, but didn't want the commitment that varsity teams required. I tried out for the club team and it's the perfect balance of competitiveness and fun. It's also how I met my very best friends!
Even though you haven't left Gonzaga yet, what is your favorite memory so far?
My favorite memory so far has been getting involved in University Ministry, club volleyball, and Gonzaga Ambassadors because I've been building a strong community with a diverse group of students that are a lot like me. Knowing that I've found a home away from home has been the greatest part of my Zag experience!
