Joseph C. Metcalfe Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship History and Description:

The Joseph C. Metcalfe Memorial Scholarship was established by family and friends in loving memory of Joseph C. Metcalfe, a young man who enriched many lives and became known as “The King of Boone Avenue” during the 1960's and 1970's while attending Gonzaga. This scholarship symbolizes and respects the wishes of students with disabilities who choose to pursue an education at Gonzaga University, and encourages these students to develop their talents and personalities.

Selection Process:

Upon acceptance to the University, students will be selected based on demonstrating financial need and maintaining at least a 2.0 grade point average.  Students must have a physical disability and use the scholarship for tuition payment only. The scholarship will be evenly divided among the fall and spring semesters.
