Bio:
I was born and raised in Spokane, Washington and graduated from Gonzaga Prep in 2006. I completed my Bachelors of Education in Physical Education from Gonzaga in 2010.
My favorite places on campus:
I have three significant places that had an impact on my college experience at GU: the student chapel, the centennial trail and Bozarth Mansion. All three places remind me of moments of contemplation, relaxation, and laughter-three things that are critical to having a successful college experience!
Several of my favorite college memories:
Every single race I competed in wearing a Gonzaga jersey! Coach Tyson has a unique gift to continually make his runners better every race, and I was fortunate enough to improve every single race. It was amazing to see the support of a team and the friendships formed through those experiences. I would also have to say watching both the men and the women in the WCC tourney in Vegas! It was inspiring to see the Zag nation! Being involved in the Gonzaga SEARCH retreat was a powerful experience-seeing so many people touched by the retreat and the history behind the program. Finally, running with the elite women at Bloomsday!
A fun fact about me:
I have traveled to 20 states but have never been out of the country!
