Study at IQS Facultat d'Economia Ramon Llull University located in Barcelona, the Capital of Catalonia, the north-eastern region of Spain, with approximately three million inhabitants. Barcelona is surrounded by one of the most important industrial belts in Spain and this proximity to industry is a factor that enriches and facilitates the educational and research activities at the Ramon Llull University.
Immerse yourself in Barcelona’s expansive history through the city’s great architectural richness that includes Roman, Romantic, Gothic, Renaissance, Art Nouveau, and Contemporary styles. Spring Semester (February- June)
Spring courses are taught in English and Spanish and the following classes have been pre-approved by the GU Business department:
- BFIN 320: Corporate Finance Theory (3 credits) in Spanish/English
- OPER 340: Logistics Management (3 credits) In English
- BFIN 327: International Financial Markets (3 credits) in English
- MKTG 417: International Marketing (3 credits) in English
- BUSN 489: Globalization and Economic Integration (2 credits) in English
- ENTR 491: Entrepreneurship - Creating New Ventures (3 credits) in English
- Leadership (2 elective credits) in English
- Marketing Plan (3 elective credits) in English
- Negotiating Skills (3 elective credits) in English
- Spaniard Economy, Demographic, Politics, and Sociology (2 elective credits) in English
The Barcelona Exchange program is open to all business undergraduates who have completed sophomore year by the time they study abroad. Admission to the program is based on the following criteria: 3.0 GPA, two letters of academic recommendation, academic clearance form, student Life clearance form.
- Interested GU students are encourage to apply early.
- There are limited spaces available for this program and completed applications will be considered on a rolling-basis.
- Completed applications must be submitted to the Gonzaga University Study Abroad Office by no later than September 15, 2008.

- $50 non-refundable application fee payable to Gonzaga University
