NON-SPONSORED STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMS:
Students are allowed to participate in non-sponsored programs wherever they choose. However, please note that:
- You must take a leave of absence for studying abroad
- Only Federal Aid will transfer - consortium agreement
- Receive transfer credits ("T" on transcript)
- Pay a $100 administrative fee per semester
In order to transfer credit from non-sponsored programs
students must:
- Make sure the program has a U.S. accredited sponsor.
- A minimum grade of "C" must be earned in each course in order to be accepted as transfer credits.
- Make an appointment to discuss the program with Wanda Reynolds, Director of Study Abroad, 323 E. Boone (gray house), Ext. 3583.
- Complete the "Study Abroad Approval" forms in order to take a leave of absence.
- Pay a $100 administrative fee.
NOTE: All applications (sponsored and non-sponsored) must be through the Study Abroad Office.
