SCHOOL FOR FIELD STUDIES PROGRAM IN BAJA MEXICO
Biology majors study at the Center for Coastal Studies based outside a small Mexican fishing village on the shores of Bahai Magdalena, one of the most productive bays and largest remaining intact wetlands of the Pacific coast.
Gonzaga students must have permission to participate from Dr. Hugh Lefcort.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
The Summer Spanish Intensive Program in Cuernavaca offers two three-week sessions for Gonzaga students beginning in late May and ending in early July.
Classes, taught by Mexican instructors, include Mexican art, history, literature, anthropology, politics and all levels of Spanish. Guided tours to various sites of historic interest are part of the program.
A Resident Director from Gonzaga's Spanish program accompanies the students and monitors their academic performance.
Gonzaga students must have permission to participate from the Spanish director or Dr. Allan Englekirk.
- 3.0 GPA in Spanish
- 1 Semester of Spanish at Gonzaga University
- Personal interview with Director
- Student Life Clearance
- September 1 until filled
- All study abroad applications must be processed through the Study Abroad Office.
