We hope you are having a wonderful time on the Gonzaga-in-Florence program. While you are abroad, it is important that you check and maintain your Gonzaga email account. There will be various important reminders that the GU Study Abroad Office and other Gonzaga offices and departments will send you by email.

Housing

GU Students Studying in Florence for the Year: If you wish to live on campus for the 2012-13 Academic Year, you will submit an on-line application in January 2013.  The 2012-13 Academic Year term will not appear on the Zag Living portal until then. In January 2011, you will need to log in to Zag Web. Students who have submitted applications may then participate in the 2013-14 Academic Year housing sign-up process. Please contact the Housing Office, housing@gonzaga.edu, require any additional information.

GU Students Studying in Florence for the Fall Only: If you wish to live on-campus for the Spring 2013 semester, the Housing Office recommends that you submit an on-line application before you leave for Florence. To submit an application through the Zag Living portal, you will need to log in to Zag Web. Please contact the GU Housing Office, housing@gonzaga.edu, if you require any additional information.

GU Students Studying in Florence for the Spring Only: If you wish to live on-campus for the Fall 2013 semester and have not already secured on-campus housing, the Housing Office recommends that you submit an on-line application as soon as possible.  To submit an application through the Zag Living portal, you will need to log in to Zag Web. Please contact the Housing Office, housing@gonzaga.edu, if you require any additional information.

Non-Gonzaga students: Contact your housing department on your home campus for information on housing for when you return.



Registration

Spring 2013 Registration

Students returning to main campus for the spring semester will register in their regular registration time periods. Students have been assigned registration time periods according to their student level and the credits they've currently earned (this total does not include registered credits from fall semester).  Registration begins on October 30th with the first group of senior level students via Zagweb.

Zagweb Registration Instructions

1. Click on Enter Secure Area.
2. Enter your ID number (User name) and PIN.
3. Click on Student & Financial Aid.
4. Click on Registration.
5. If you know the CRNs of the courses for which you need to register, click on "Add/Drop Classes".
6. Click on "Look up Classes to Add" if you don’t know the CRNs of your courses.  Courses may be searched by Campus, Subject, Course Number, Instructor, Start Time, End Time, or Days.
7. Click on courses and add to worksheet.
8. After courses are selected to add, click on the "Submit Changes" button.
9. If you have printer capabilities, a schedule may be printed by selecting "Student Schedule by Day & Time" at the bottom of the "Look Up Classes to Add" page, or via the registration menu, Class Search option.
10. Please use Zagweb feedback on the Registration Menu and tell us how it worked.
11. When you have completed your Zagweb session, be sure to click on the "Exit" button in the upper right hand corner of your screen to ensure that any confidential information is cleared from your cache, then exit the browser normally.  Using the "Back" button or the "Menu" option will not clear your cache.
