INSURANCE
Included in the program cost are the International Student Identity Card (ISIC), Gonzaga University student accident plan, and Italian insurance that satisfies the visa requirement.

ADDITIONAL EXPENSES
In addition to the program fees, other costs include textbooks, round trip airfare, and participation in optional weekend trips. Individual student habits, independent travel, and currency exchange rates should all be taken into consideration when planning your budget.

PASSPORT AND VISA
A student visa is required for study in Italy. To apply for a visa, all students must have a passport that is valid for three months beyond their stay in Europe. Do not plan to use your passport 90 days prior to departure to allow for visa processing. Detailed instructions will be provided by the Gonzaga Study Abroad office. Keep in mind, that passports can take up to four months to process. Apply early.

FINANCIAL AID
Gonzaga University students: Except for work study awards and performance scholarships, all Gonzaga University financial aid applies to the Gonzaga-in-Florence program.
Non-Gonzaga University students: contact the financial aid officer on your home campus to determine what aid will transfer. Several types of aid are transferable, but all forms of aid must be processed through your home campus financial aid office in collaboration with the Gonzaga University Financial Aid Office.
